Rushden Echo, 17th November 1922, transcribed by Kay Collins

Stanwick - A Memorial Service for the fallen from the parish was held in the parish church on Saturday, when a good congregation of relatives, ex-Servicemen, and parishioners was present. The preacher was the Rector (the Rev J B Dollar, M.A., late captain of H.M. Irish Regiment of Foot Guards), and the church and chapel choirs united to lead the singing. After the sermon the choirs and congregation went in procession to the War Memorial, where a most impressive service was brought to a close with prayer and the Benediction. Mr R Bailey sounded the “last Post” and the “Reveille.”
