- 20.10.2016 - More news and notes from the 1860s-1900 this time. 22 notes added to pages in the Business and Commerce section, Crime has lots more court reports. In People an intering letter from Wm Anger, plus 11 obituaries and 2 wedding reports. More sales notices, lots of notes added to existing pages in most section, including an 'Eccentric Wedding'. More 1917 notes added in the War section and Villages section.
- 28.09.2016 - More obituaries, and wedding reports and notes added to existing pages in many sections, from 1917-1920 plus lots of pictures, and several additional pages for Memorial Men on the villages war memorials, a few for Rushden Memorial Men, and more on Tribunals and wartime awards.
- 28.08.2016 - Some Infant School Admissions for Newton Road and a County Primary for South End are added. Also another Log Book 1881-1907 for the National School. Lots of new pictures this month mostly under History including Duck Street and in Leisure, and Commerce. More 1870s obituaries, sales notices, and notes added to existing pages, plus some court reports.

- 19.06.2016 - Some early 1830s newsclips are much of this update, adding to pages in several sections. In History a new plaque was unveiled by RDHS to mark their 25th Anniversary, and several early sales reports make interesting reading.
- 15.05.2016 - Newspaper clips from 1800-1850 provide much of the information in this update, mostly sales of land and property. A few exisiting pages also have snippets added.
- 18.04.2016 - Much of this update is from 1928, 1943, and 1916 newspaper clips added to most sections. Education has 3 new galleries of staff photos for Denfield Park School, History has new pages on Listed Buildings, and on Benchmarks. To shorten the People Index page the Families Index is now a sub-index; updates include 9 obituaries and 7 wedding reports. In the War section enlistments for July/Aug 1943 have been added. Indexes to Melville's Directory for 1861 and Listed Buildings and Benchmarks are new in Villages.
- 20.03.2016 - Newsclips added in most sections are the bulk of this update, including court reports, fires, weddings, obituaries and adverts. A few new photos have also been added to various pages, in History 4 council meeting reports, more on demolition, and unveiling a new Plaque.
- 20.02.2016 - In Business and Commerce new indexes have been added to INDEX of All Traders. Newsclips added in all sections are the rest of this update, including weddings, obituaries and adverts.
- 28.01.2016 - Much of this update is additional information from 1919. In Business and Commerce and Churches and Leisure two new Walks for residents or visitors, and several notes have been added to existing pages, in People 13 more obituaries, and an artistic autograph collection, plus weddings and anniversaries, and in War section notes and prisoners, and in Villages about 30 obituaries of soldiers means new pages for 'War Memorial Men' in this section, plus other newsclips.
- 01.01.2016 - Happy New Year! This time much of the additional information has been added to exisiting pages, and is from 1916/17. In People 5 more obituaries, and in War section and in Villages several extra pictures of war dead have been added.
- 04.12.2015 - Most sections have minor additions to exisiting pages, Education has a new photo for North End 1950, Health has 3 more accidents, in History 3 council meeting reports, a new Blue Plaque and Stromag demolition, in People 5 obituaries, 2 weddings and a birthday, and 3 new school pictures for Newton Bromswold round off this update.
- 12.11.2015 - A New DVD "A Bird's Eye View" has been produced by Friends of St Mary's Church, with collaboration from Rushden Research. Our 2009 DVD is still available, and the War 'Memorial Men' book. In this update more newsclips for 1902 and 1915, a new item in Land on Nenehurst, in Leisure several pages have new photos and two more RADS programmes. New in People is the Upton Family at Rushden and Higham, and 14 obituaries and 2 wedding reports, in Villages a page on Ferrers Tennis Club, and minor updates in most sections. Each note or picture added to a page, adds to the overall history.
- 07.10.2015 - Yet again newsclips have added to lots of exisiting pages. In History 4 council meeting reports, in People 3 obituaries, 2 weddings, in the War section updates for 1916 & 1943, and the Bedehouse rules are new for Higham Ferrers section in the Villages section.
- 15.09.2015 - Again newsclips have added information to lots of exisiting pages. In Genealogy the Inquest Index has been updated, Health has more accidents, in History 3 council meeting reports for 1916 & 1921 and more on council housing plans, and Leisure has several new photos of bands and choirs, in People 13 obituaries, 5 weddings, and more on emigrants, and some shoe factories have additions. In the War section more on prisoners, and volunteers. In the Villages section more obituaries and soldiers notes for Higham and Irchester, and an interesting item on intolenace at Ringstead Baptist Church.
- 16.08.2015 - This time once again newsclips have added information to lots of exisiting pages. Churches section has much added to Rushden Methodists for 1901-1906. From 1930s: a fire, an accident, and 3 sales notices, 10 obituaries, a birthday and a wedding, and several items on shoe factories add to their history, and some Villages notes. A WWII ARP item new in the War section.
- 01.07.2015 - This month a dozen pages have additions in Business and Commerce, and Churches, Education and Health have minor additions. In History two additional council meeting reports for 1921, and Leisure has a major update to Guides and Brownies in the town. In People 13 obituaries, 10 weddings, and 2 birthday reports, 23 updated pages in Shoetrade and War has lots of updates for WWI and some for 1943. Villages has 14 obituaries, and other updated pages.
- 05.06.2015 - This month in Business and Commerce, a page on Wm Webb - saddler, an item on Kinloch's closure, and a dozen updated pages, Churches has a new item - Bazaar at the Wesleyan Church in 1953, Education has minor additions, Health has several accident reports, Leisure has an article on First Class Cricket at Rushden and minor updates, in People more obituaries, a wedding, and a page on a Warren Family, which has a few surprizing links! Minor updates in the War section, and Villages has 6 obituaries, a fire, and other updates.
- 09.05.2015 - This month Education has additions to school admissions for Newton Road and Log Books for South End and Newton Road. In People there are 14 obituaries from 1931/2, and there are a few updated pages in most other sections.
- 16.04.2015 - Again this time there are lots of updated pages in most sections. New in Leisure - Carnivals of 1959 and 1963 and an Old Tyme Music Hall, in People more obituaries and weddings, in War flares dropped in 1942, more on prisoners of war and soldiers notes.
- 12.03.2015 - This month, as well as lots of updated pages in most sections, Health has several accident reports, health and sanitary reports for 1906, History has 3 more council meeting reports, Leisure has another RATS production and a Wings Parade. In People there are 8 obituaries and 12 weddings from 1915, War section has more about WWII prisoners of war.
- 14.02.2015 - This time we have added several School Admissions books, including some evacuees. More 1923 newsclips includes accidents, obituaries, birthdays, wedding reports, and several snippets on various events, businesses, and societies. History has two more council meeting reports. Land and Property has some interesting invoices for furnishing a house in 1882. Leisure has several outings, plus minor updates in the other sections.
- 27.01.2015 - We missed a month due to illness and holidays! Much of this update is also from 1919 and 1923 newsclips and includes accidents, obituaries, birthdays, wedding reports, and several snippets on various events, businesses, and societies. Leisure has several outings and 6 new items of the RATS productions. In People there are 8 obituaries, 2 weddings, more emigration items, plus minor updates in the other sections. Villages has 9 obituaries, a fire, and other updates.
- 21.11.2014 - Most of this month's update is from 1914, 1919 & 1923 newsclips, giving a selection of snippets, wedding reports and obituaries, and notes about churches, people, schools and businesses.
- 16.10.2014 - Much of this update is due to 1917 & 1918 newsclips, giving a selection of snippets, as well as notes about churches, people, schools and businesses during the war. Also several additions to 'Memorial Men' pages including a few pictures, and more soldier's notes, and more on street memorials in Rushden, and the nearby villages. New wedding reports, and obituaries including several men on village war memorials. One more wall has been added to the Memorial Walls index in the cemetery in the Genealogy section. Court Estate has more on the Mission Hall, and Chelveston has 7 more wills transcribed.
- 22.09.2014 - Business and Commerce, Crime, Education, Health & History have minor additions/updates, Churches has a new item on Quaker Meetings plus minor updates, Leisure has a new item 'Blue Plaque Walk', and several updates plus lots more on the Operatic Society productions. In People there are 9 obituaries, 7 weddings, some poems, more emigration items, plus minor updates; Shoetrade, Transport and War have minor updates including seven pictures added to 'Memorial Men' pages. In Villages section more obituaries and minor updates.
- 22.08.2014 - Business and Commerce has 20 updates, 4 new early traders, and 2 bankruptcies, Education has new admissions book indexes, a 1964 photo and several updates, Crime has 2 new fires, Genealogy has more marriage registers, Health has 3 accident reports, History and Land have minor updates, Leisure has 24 updates. In People new family pages include Tailby, Putnam, Bridgeford, and 10 obituaries, 4 weddings, and several updates, 10 updated pages in Shoetrade, and 22 in War. In Villages section a few war memorial obituaries and lots of updates have been added.
- 28.07.2014 - Business and Commerce has about 30 updated pages, and two new bankruptcy reports, Crime and Churches have minor additions, Education has 15 updated pages. More on current demolition and minor updates are in History, Land has more on the Allotment Society, and in Leisure more on cycling and a Brownie Log Book, and several updated pages. People has 12 obituaries, two weddings and more emigrants' notes; 23 updates are in Shoetrade. The War section has just minor additions, and details of a new book 'Memorial Men' we have produced. The Villages section has village histories and listings from the 1874 Whellan's directories, and several obituaries including men on some of our village war memorials, round off this update.
- 11.06.2014 - Business and Commerce has a dozen updated pages, Crime has one fire, Churches, Health, History, Land and Leisure have minor updates, People has 14 obituaries, three weddings and more emigrants' notes, a dozen updates are in Shoetrade. The War section has over 50 updated pages and more on soldiers' experiences. The Villages section has the 1924 Kelly's directories, more WWI soldiers' notes, and several obituaries to round off this update.
- 22.05.2014 - Business and Commerce has twenty updated pages, Churches has a Wesleyan Bazaar 1902 and Jubilee 1950, one fire in Crime, outings, concerts and teachers notes for Alfred Street are added in Education, more on current demolition and a Blue Plaque are in History and in Leisure more on the Operatic Society productions, cubs, guides and carnivals, 4 obituaries in People, and several updated pages in Shoetrade and for the railway in Transport. In the War section an index of Prisoners of War found so far, and an album of 130 pictures of serving men & women from WWII, and additions to 18 Memorial Men pages including pictures of several. Minor updates Shoetrade and for the railway in Transport.

- 20.04.2014 - Business and Commerce has 19 updated pages and 2 bankruptcies, Churches, Education, Leisure have a few additions to existing pages, History has more on floods, Orchard Place, council meetings and demolition, 3 obituaries and the Perkins Family emigration diary are new in People, and notes on roads are added in Transport. 1916 newsclips have been added to several memorial men pages, and other pages in War and one photo to HF Football in Villages section rounds off this update.
- 02.04.2014 - Business and Commerce has 20 updated pages, Churches has minor updates and new items for BWTA, 4 fires and long service firemen are in Crime, more on early private schools and music successes in Education and Health has more accidents and a shoe factory accident, History has more in the gallery of chairmen of councillors, 20 updated pages in Leisure and 13 obituaries and two wedding reports new in People, 17 updated pages in Shoetrade, a railway accident in Transport, and 30 updated pages in War and 50 updates in the Villages section round off this update. Much is due to newsclips from 1908/9, WWI and 1922.

- 26.02.2014 - Minor additions to pages in Business and Commerce and Churches, three fires in Crime, and Education and have a few additions to existing pages. History has more on council meetings, councillors, council staff and surveys, developments and demolition. Land has an article about Wymington Estate, and minor updates, Leisure has new items on the first motor cycle club, Rock Foundation as well as several updates, People has three wedding and 16 obituaries and a birthday report, and additions in Emigration, minor updates in Shoetrade, and several road reports are added in Transport. Health The index for War has been reorganised - see Soldiers Notes mainpage, and more for 1914/15 Memorial Men and prisoners, two more Rolls of Honour have been photographed and transcribed, and some 1943 notes added. Many of the pictures are of poor quality due to them coming from newspapers on microfilm, and taken by digital camera though the film viewer. In Villages more obituaries and wedding reports, and lots of 1914/15 newsclips add to several items.

War has a few more awards, a pilgrimage and a few more updated pages, and in Villages more obituaries and other newsclips.

- 19.12.2013 - The last update of 2013 has updates in most sections, much of it from the newspapers. History section includes more demolition and development, in Leisure a few more outings, events, club news, and pictures of Spencer Park, and People has several wedding and obituary reports, and Graham Pack has sent us his memoires. A check is started through the WWI 'Memorial Men' pages and adding minor details, and more soldiers notes, and in Villages more obituaries and other newsclips.
- 28.11.2013 - This time there are updates in all sections, much of it thanks to newsclips 1909, 1917, 1943/4, and some new pictures, added to existing pages. New items include History section Trafford Road, Wentworth Road and lighting, in Leisure a 1909 Cycle Parade & Gala "The biggest conglomeration of people ever seen in the town", People has a page about Rev Gadsby, a John White's outing in 1947 in Shoetrade, and several obituaries in Villages including soldiers in war.

In Health more on anti-vaccination when 26 were prosecuted in 1887, and a few minor updates, History has items on 1960s housing, overspill, plans, developments and more Council meetings, Leisure has more on the Windmill Club, outings, operatic productions, interiors of the King Edward VII, and other minor updates, a dozen obituaries are new in People and two wedding reports, minor additions in Shoetrade, Transport, War has more updates from 1943 and 1915, with several updated pages, and Villages has a few obituaries, three Kelly's directories for Higham Ferrers, and updates to "soldiers notes" pages for Irchester, Higham, Podington, Raunds, with other minor updates.

History includes 1960s plans, Leisure has another Operatic Show and Carnival additions, People section has some memories of Fletcher Road, and 3 obituaries, minor updates in Shoetrade, Transport and War, and Villages has additions and pictures in lots of existing pages for Higham Ferrers, more obituaries, plus the usual updated pages in most sections.

- 21.05.2013 - Land/History/Church sections have links to a bundle of Terriers and some of these detail the Rectory buildings in the 1700s, and some owners of land. A 1912 Bazaar links in Business and Commerce and Churches, in Health there is a report for 1900-1970, and interview with Stella Reynolds is new in People, and a list of headteachers at Wymington school, are the main updates this time. As usual there are several updated pages in most sections.

Most were found whilst researching other items; obituaries, accidents, outings, company suppers, emigration, soldiers notes, and several interesting "snippets". Several of the team have been away!
