Wholesale & Export Shoe Manufacturer

THE business was commenced in 1912 for the production of wholesale and export high-grade solid leather footwear. These are turned out in large numbers, and are sound, reliable goods, made of solid leather, in S.S., F.S., etc. In normal times box calf, willow calf, and glace kid are the specialties, but at present the firm are exceedingly busy making boots for the Russian and Allied Governments.

Mr. Duncan thoroughly understands the trade and has had considerable experience. His motto is: "Solidity, workmanship and keen personal attention to every detail".

Mr. R. L. Duncan has been in France for the past ten months in the Motor Transport Service of the A.S.C.

New Firm—The factory lately occupied by Mr. Amos Cave in Sartoris-road, Rushden, has been taken by Messrs. Davison and Duncan, who will shortly commence business as shoe manufacturers. Mr. Davison has been manager of the Northamptonshire Boot and Shoe Productive Society at Wollaston and prior to that was in the office of Thorps and Co., of Kettering.
