CouncillorW Bazeley, J.P., the retiring secretary of the Rushden branch of the Boot Operatives’ Union, has not lost a day from the office through ill-health during his 22 years’ service.

The Unemployed in Rushden and Higham Ferrers who received out-of-work benefit from the Boot Operatives’ Union last Friday numbered 333.
