The Case of Miss Emma Wooding

We have received the following from the committee—

"The committee desire to thank all friends for the generous manner in which they responded to their appeal for subscriptions. Emma Wooding has had the massage treatment for ten weeks at a Home in North London and has now returned greatly benefited. The fund is now closed, and following is a correct balance sheets which we trust will meet with the subscribers’ approval:- Subscriptions acknowledged in the Rushden Echo, £37 16s. 1½d. Expended, Institution fees for ten weeks £31 10s., railway fare, &c., to the Home £2 4s. 1d., ditto from the home £1 6s. 7d., E. Knight (printing) 7s. 6d., total £35 8s. 2d. Balance in hand, £3 7s. 11½d.

“The Balance in hand, will be paid to Emma Wooding by instalments weekly. The committee take this opportunity of thanking the Editor of the Rushden Echo for his interest and the use of his columns in the above case.
