The Case of Miss Emma Wooding
On Tuesday last Miss Emma Wooding, on whose behalf we have lately been making a public appeal for subscriptions, was removed to the North London Nursing Institute, 6 and 8, Alexandra-road, Finsbury Park, for Massage treatment. She was accompanied by Mr. T. Fields and a young woman who has been attending her. One of the nurses from the Home met the patient at St. Pancras station. The Home is a very nice place. Miss Wooding wishes us to state that she is quite comfortable and satisfied, and is receiving every care and attention. She thanks the committee, the ladies, and all who have subscribed and interested themselves on her behalf.
The terms on which Miss Wooding has been received in the Home are very reasonable, viz., £3 3s. a week, besides which there will be a few extras. The expenses have been very small. In due course we shall publish a balance sheet, so that every subscriber may know how the money has been spent.
A committee meeting will be held in the school-room at the back of the Coffee Tavern this (Friday) evening at 7.30. All members are requested to attend.
