The former Cunnington's factory - Park road
This factory at the corner of Crabb Street/Park Road originally
belonged to Cunnington Bros. From about 1940 it was one
of the factories used by Bignells and later by John White.

The I.T. Kiosk

The Society recognises that many people with an interest in the history and heritage of Rushden do not have access to the Internet, or even if they do, may not be on broadband or other high-speed connections which allow the enjoyment of extended audio and video features.

Accordingly, part of this project is to set up in Rushden Museum an I.T. kiosk facility which will have a rugged keyboard and touchscreen, which will enable access for those in wheelchairs, and which will offer an enhanced version of the website. As well as all the features of the site, there will be extended audio and video clips which will have been collected and produced as part of the project.
