These photographs all came to us courtesy of Denis Maddams.
Denis played for the school, as an 'Old Boy' and for Rushden Amateurs.
He was also a very good cricketer.

When the pupils leaving the Interdemiate School in 1937 decided to form an "Old Boys" team, the treasurer and hon. sec. was Cliff Timpson. He issued the 11 boys with cards to collect sponsorship money. Of these only 5 were returned and Denis Maddams' card shows he excelled by collecting 3s. 6d., the total collected being 11s. 5d.

The club's first year income/expenses were £2. 9s. 9d., and in the second year £4. 12s. 9d.
