The Rev. E. F. Walker, pastor of the Congregational Church, Rushden, has been invited to take up work in connection with Y.M.C.A. in France.

Welcomed Home—members of the Congregational Church and Sunday School who have been away on military service, and who have been discharged or demobilised, were invited to a tea and social gathering in the school-room on Saturday. Other members and friends were present to welcome them.

Minister Invited—At a meeting of the members of the Rushden Congregational Church on Tuesday it was decided to invite the Rev W B Osborne, of Burnham-on-Crouch, to the pastorate of the church. Mr Osborne has paid two visits to Rushden to preach at the Congregational Church.
