The offices closed in 1970 but the garage and workshops continued. They finally closed down in the 1990s the land was redeveloped and a Netto Store was built.
The lower part of the road was renamed Peck Way in honour of the Peck family whose business moved to this site

When Calor Gas closed down in the 1990s the land was redeveloped and a Netto Store was built. (Home Bargains in 2012)
A new road was built to access the store and named Peck Way in honour of the Peck family.
The road extends into a housing development on the land adjoining, which included a pocket park accessed at the top of Crane Close.
In 2018 the development on a small plot of land where Peck Way joins North Street is new flats named 'Peck House'.
