Ginns' smithy being demolished - 1972

A blue plaque to Ginns' was erected by RDHS in 2014
on the new properties on the site.

The following pictures were taken by Clive Wood, who had a passion for Old Rushden. He would take photos of any threatened buildings, and was a founder of the Amenties Society, formed in February 1967 to save the threatened Rushden Hall. These photos show the building, the fire hearth and tools used, and some of the 'left-overs' in the abandoned yard. James Guinee was the last blacksmith to work here.

The demolition was in 1972.
