An Out-Patients unit - 'Rushden House Day Hospital' - opened in 1975, and became Rushden House Day Centre/Unit (Cordwainers) in 1980. When the Hopsital was closed, part of a new building on the Southfields area was made available for the Day Centre use. There are two access points from the Pightles and from Southfields. Here the pesioners can get advice, an information. A large communal room is used for talks and presentations. |
