Swann Brothers were only advertised in trade directories in 1893 and 1894.

Nothing more is known of the brothers.

The shop was aken over in 1897 by grocer C R Palmer established at Higham Ferrers.

George Battersby took over the shop. He had first been apprenticed with Charles Palmer at Higham Ferrers.
