In 1996/7, the Post Office counter service moved into the Budgen's supermarket store.

6th of February but the notice had no year!

It continued there when Wilkinson's took over the store in 2007. The old sorting office remained and still being used [2025].

Another change came when the counter service was moved into Cherry's Pharmacy in central High Street.[c2009]

All the sub-offices had closed as buisnesses housing them closed down, leaving one in Grangeway.

That too moved in 2024 to the Premier Store at the corner of Rose Avenue/Church Hall Road.
