Henry Morris advertised from 1898 until 1924.

Henry Morris was born at Stanwick, son of John and Elizabeth, in 1855. John kept a 60 acre farm, and also worked as a stone mason. About 1865 Elizabeth died and John gave up farming, concentrating as a marble mason.

In 1879 Henry married Clara Burley (born in 1854 at Counton NTT), at Southwell. They settled at Stanwick and had 4 sons, Henry F J, Hugh, Percy and Harold and a daughter Ivy, before moving to Rushden in 1886. But Henry junior was no longer with the family. [no burial found]

They lived at 76 Wellingborough Road, and another son, Ernest, was born in 1888. Three more daughters were born, May in 1892, Eva in 1894, and Amy J in 1895. Sadly Eva died aged just 11 years.

Grave B632 : In loving memory of Eva (Buff) the beloved daughter of Henry & Clara MORRIS who fell asleep Dec 11th 1904 aged 11 years. We think of her in silence, no eyes can see us weep, but deep within our hearts, her memory we will keep.

At Rushden he was working at Coffee Tavern Lane making varied marble and stone pieces, chimneys and monuments for graves. Percy and Harold joined their father as masons, whilst Hugh became a carpenter, and Ivy was a teacher by 1901.

Ivy died in 1910 aged 74 and was burnied in Rushden Cemetery Grave F1332. Clara died in 1934 aged 70 and was buried in Grave B704.

Harold Beal Morris married Laura Holliday of Lt. Houghton on 28th Dec 1911, at St Mary's Church, Rushden. He died here in 1876.
