The High Street shop, close to the Independent Wesleyan Church

All we know of Elizabeth, milliner is that her business began in the 1930s in Queen Street, before moving to High Street. The shop was in front of the Seddons & Arlidge box factory. It was demolished when High Street was redevloped in the 1990s, following the closure of the Co-op.
