Rushden's Casualty List

Gunner H S Wing, R.G.A., son of Mrs Wing, of Irchester-road, Rushden, was killed in action on April 29th, news to that effect having been received on Tuesday last. Deceased, who was 34 years of age, had been in France two years. The late Gunner Wing was at first attached to the guns, and was afterwards appointed a dispatch rider. This is the second bereavement Mrs Wing has sustained in the war, another son (Sergt. B Wing) having been killed in July, 1916.
