A Corporal in the Rushden Home Guard, and a member of the Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes, Mr. Harry (Buller) Fletton, of 32 Oakley-road, Rushden, passed away on Wednesday morning after three weeks illness. He had been employed in the stiffener department of Messrs. W. W. Chamberlain and Sons, Higham Ferrers. During the last war he served in Russia. Born in Rushden, he was aged 42. A wife, two children, mother and sister are bereaved.

The funeral will be held on Saturday at the house being conducted by the rev. E. E. Bromage, pastor of the Mission Church, at 1230.

Funeral of Mr. Harry Fletton

Members of the Home Guard formed a guard of honour on Saturday at the funeral of Mr. Harry (Buller) Fletton, a corporal in the Rushden “E” Company, who passed away on May 28 at the aged of 42. The service at 32 Oakley-road was conducted by the Rev. E. E. Bromage, pastor of the Mission Church, who also officiated at the interment.
