| The Cheney children, George, David, Sidney, Nellie, Mabel & Lucy were all born at Rushden and emigrated to Australia with their parents John & Sarah who had both been born at Kettering. They lived at Richmond in Victoria. David joined the Australian Infantry as did his brother Sidney. Although Sidney is commemorated on the War Memorial at Rushden, his brother David is not. |
