He wrote a message on the back of his photo:

'Kind regards from an Austrian serving with the British Army.

Air crew signatures
76 - This Jan 1941 postcard of a Hurricane crew has signatures on the back and a note '4 DFCs, 4 DFMs & 1 Polish VC'.
Top left corner J H Lacey, P/O has signed - his signature is circled with a note alongside 'DFM & Bar'. [See also newclip above]
Presumably at least one Rushden man will be in the group.
