Sergeant Donald R Curtis


Mentioned in Despatches - Rushden Airman Honoured in Middle East

Writing from the Middle East to his wife, Sergt. Donald Curtis, R.A.F., of Rushden, briefly informs her that he has been mentioned in dispatches, but gives no details, except that the honour was gazetted on January 14th.

Sergt. Curtis has been on the office staff at a base in Cairo for three years, and hopes to be coming home shortly. He is 26 years of age and altogether has seen five years' service. Prior to this he had his own printing business in Wellingborough-road and belonged to St. Mary's Church. His home is at 19, Kings-road, and Mrs. Curtis is on the office staff of P.X. Ltd.
