“New Method”

The firm was established in 1890 for the manufacture of medium class footwear, but gradually improved their production until they now prepare the better grades. The four years before the War the goods turned out consisted solely of box calf and black glacé in welted M.S. and F.S. So successfully was this trade catered for that the firm always had three months’ trade on their books. They were the first to introduce the “New Method” brand, which was the first line of goods to be guaranteed all leather. At the moment the firm are mostly employed in making Boots for the British and Allied Governments.
