The ceremony was conducted in the Parish Church, Rushden, a very large number of friends being present. The Ven. A. Kitchin, assisted by the Rev. E. F. Braley, officiatied. The service was choral, and Mr. J. E. Smith played appropriate music, including a wedding march as the party left the church.

The bride looked charming in an exquisite dress of silk marquisette, with lavish silver trimmings and train of ivory satin. She wore a bridal veil (with orange blossom) lent by Mrs. H. Jaques, and carried a beautiful sheaf of white lilies, tied with white satin ribbon, given by the bridegroom. She was given away by her father.

There were two bridesmaids—Miss N. Webb (sister of the bridegroom), and Miss Nellie Manger (Leicester, friend of the bride). They were attired in dresses of grey silk salome, and black hats with white ostrich plumes. Both carried bouquets of pink and white carnations, tied with pink ribbon, the gift of the bridegroom. Mrs. C. Clark (mother of the bride) was handsomely attired in a dress of grey silk lustre, trimmed with black satin and lace insertion.

The brother of the bridegroom (Mr. Wm. Webb) made an efficient best man.

After the ceremony a reception was held at the Public Hall, where the bride and bridegroom received the congratulations of about 70 friends.

Mr. and Mrs. Webb subsequently left for Eastbourne, where the honeymoon is being spent. The bride’s travelling costume was of grey and black striped cloth, with grey squirrel furs. Mr. and Mrs. Webb will reside at Moor-road, Rushden.

A large number of presents were received by the bride and bridegroom.

The dresses of the bride and bridesmaids were made by Miss Newman, of Higham Ferrers, and Miss Manger, of Rushden. The handsome wedding cake was supplied Mr. W. Tilley, of Wellingborough-road, Rushden.
