Mrs Emily Lack

Mrs Emily Lack, of 9 Higham Road, Rushden, a member of the Park Road Baptist Church for more than sixty years, died at her home on Wednesday. She was 83.

Mrs Lack was born at Rushden and had lived in the town all her life. She was a life vice-president of Highfield Baptist Women’s Pleasant Hour and in her younger days was the sick visitor for the Sunshine Committee of the Christian Endeavour.

Her husband, Mr Herbert Lack, who was Rushden’s rating officer, died in 1939.

Bereaved are her two sons, Mr A Lack and Bruce Lack and two grandchildren.

The funeral service is to take place today at the house, and will be followed by interment at Rushden cemetery.

In loving remembrance of Herbert LACK 1877 - 1939 and Emily LACK 1880 - 1963. They have attained the heights, and rest.
