Mrs. Nellie Harlow

Rushden Death
Well-known for her interest in the Adult School and Co-operative Movements, Mrs. Nellie Harlow (76), wife of Mr. Ernest A. Harlow, of 155, Cromwell Road, Rushden, has passed away after eight years of illness.

Born at Higham Ferrers, Mrs. Harlow lived continuously at the same house from a few weeks after her marriage 55 years ago.

She was a member of the Women's Co-operative Guild, and her husband has shared her interest in Rushden Adult School, being still a trustee.

Mr. Harlow has also served the Friendly Society movement for many years, and is an officer of the Myrtle Lodge of Free Gardeners.

Four daughters and one son are bereaved.
