The funeral took place at Rushden on Wednesday of Mr. Mark Nathaniel Elliott, of 188 Wellingborough-road. Mr. Elliott had been in poor health for over four years, but on Sunday afternoon he suddenly collapsed in the kitchen, passing away within a very short time. Previous to his illness he had been with Mr. Robert Marriott, the Rushden builder and contractor. He was 69 years of age, and leaves a widow, two sons, Mr. William Elliott (the caretaker of the Rushden Swimming Bath), Mr. Arthur Elliott, of Cheltenham, and two daughters, the Misses Olive and Winnie Elliott, who lived with their parents. Messrs. A Sanders Ltd., carried out the funeral arrangements. |
