Mrs. E.  Bunting - 1942

Following a fall in her home on Wednesday, October 21st, the death occurred last Friday of Mrs. Eleanor Bunting, of 9, Victoria-road, Rushden, who was 74 and had been ill for four years.

A native of Higham Ferrers, Mrs. Bunting came to Rushden when only 12 months old, and had been living here ever since. Years ago she was a member of the Co-operative Guild and served on the committee.

Mrs. Bunting lost her husband six years ago. She leaves two daughters, Mrs. M.Tolman and Mrs. K. King.

The funeral took place on Monday, a service being conducted at the house by the Rev. E. E. Bromage, pastor of the Mission Church. The mourners were Mrs. K. King and Mrs. Tolman (daughters), Doreen and Chrissie King (grandchildren), Mr. C. Tolman (son-in-law), Mr. and Mrs. C. Tomlin (brother and sister-in-law), Mrs. A. Bunting (sister-in-law), Mrs. J. Bailey (sister), Mrs. C. Gibbs and Mrs. C. Pickering (nieces), Mr. S. G. Tolman and Mrs. H. Lewis (friends).
