Presentation—At an informal meeting of the directors of the Rushden Conservative Club, on Saturday night, Mr. W. Saby Knight, for nine years the respected steward of the club, was presented, on his terminating the office, with a leather wallet containing £11 10s. in Treasury notes. Mr. W. H. Moody, chairman of the directorate, handing the gift to Mr. Knight, said that the donors hoped to meet Mr. Knight on many more occasions, though he would no longer be their steward. The directors and members wishes Mr. and Mrs. Knight long years of health and happiness. In response, Mr. Knight said he greatly appreciated the kindly feeling that had prompted the donors to make the gift, and he was glad that they had approved of his services, which had always been rendered to the best of his ability. Mrs. Knight also gave an expression of her appreciation.
