Grenson
only a front view but Grenson did Fashions of Two Centuries
Pictures probably from 1959 as the board above the Sweeney Todd motor cycle has that date. Behind it is the Grenson's truck announcing Fashions of Two Centuries.

Steve Joyce on the running board of the Model Car went on to be MC at Carnival events for several years.

1962 newsclip but we don't have a picture:

Stone Age

Members of Rushden Query Motor Club featured in most of the carnival antics this year as a gathering of Stone Age Men, complete with Stone Age hut on wheels.

Their abode, the idea of club member Mr. Steve Joyce, was daubed with catchy slogans, and it was good enough to win the Co-operative Carnival Trophy for being the best exhibit on show.

Query Club collectors
1965 - One of the Query Club's "bangers" provideds a perch for collectors

1966 was wet! - another newsclip but no picture:

The wet was a mixed blessing for Rushden and District Query Motor Club. They provided the main arena event, with Autokhana 66. The cars and crews got up to some incredible antics on the muddy ground, but on the other hand not many people were there to watch.
