Crowds turn out for Rushden Carnival
Bright sunshine brought out the crowds on Saturday for Rushden’s annual carnival procession through the main streets, and the arena events afterwards at Spencer Park.
The carnival procession was led by Rushden firemen, who gave displays on the route, the Rushden Temperance Band and the float of Rushden Carnival Queen of Industry, Miss Jacqueline Case, and her attendants, Miss Janice Lee and Miss Jennifer Wynd.
