The Rushden Echo, 3rd February 1928, transcribed by Kay Collins

BEST IN SHOW—The wire fox-terrier bitch "Minor of Morement," belonging to Mr. A. Allebone, of Rushden, won five first prizes and was awarded "special for best in show, all breeds," at the Luton Sporting Terrier Show held last Saturday.

Canine Success—Exhibited by Mr. A. Betson, of Rushden, “Omar of Harborough” won first prizes in the Northampton Canine Society’s show on Saturday, in the open Pekingese and non-sporting classes. The same owners “Bubbles of Harborough” was third in the open Pekingese class.
