Beerhouses

Northampton Brewery supplied this beerhouse.
Lilian Tye is pictured outside in 1933. It was on the corner of Beech Road and Higham Road.


Later it was Freeston's grocery
shop, but today it has reverted
to living accomodation.

J T Reid established his beerhouse in Wellingborough Road, this was later Lankesters, and today (2009) it is Threshers.
