A second caption has been compiled by Roy Pettit who contacted several people to ask them to look for people they might recognise.
Roy tells us that many of them worked at Sanders and Sanders, and the picture is taken behind the factory from the Hayway.
All lived in Spencer Road, Hayway, Ealing Terrace or at the foot of Higham Road.

93 Spencer Road at the far end of the road, close to the entrance into Spencer Park, facing Washbrook Road.

The house won 3rd prize in 1953 when it was decorated for the Coronation.

The Abbott family lived here at that time.
