Co-operative Parade and Sports
1,OOO Children In Procession
Happy Boys and Girls of Rushden Co-operators

Over one thousand boys and girls whose parents are members of the Rushden Industrial Co-operative Society, Ltd., thoroughly enjoyed themselves at their annual procession, tea and sports on Saturday.

After being judged at Spencer Park, the procession followed the Rushden Temperance and Mission Bands to the Newton-road Schools where tea was served by the Society's staff. The bands and the committee had their tea on the cricket ground, where the children gathered in the evening.

Entertainment was provided by Professor Edwards doing many conjuring tricks which amused the children immensely, and there was a wonderful gymnastic display by the Kettering Clothiers Club.
