"Moorlands"
In 1895/6 plans were passed to build several pairs of semi-detached villas in Hayway and one pair in Kimbolton Road, opposite Hayway, for Mr and Miss Mason [138+140]. Kimbolton Road was later renamed as Northampton Road. "Moorlands" - see re-numbering map - was numbered 101 with the house adjoining called "Hayway" at 103.

By 1902 Samuel Knight was living at "Moorlands" and his daughter Sarah Jane and son-in-law Robert Willliam Nunley (married in 1893) were living next door.
