Plans passed were: Two houses in Talbot-road and a house in Park-avenue for A. Sanders Ltd.: two houses on Bedford-road for Mr. W. C Tarry (subject to the consent of the County Council); two houses in Birchall-road for T. Swindall and Sons; nine bungalows on the Newton-road for Mr. A. W. Osborne; four bungalows in road off St. Margaret's-avenue, a house and shop in St. Margaret's-avenue, and a bungalow in St. Margaret's-avenue for Messrs. M. M. Drabble; and a new road off St. Mary's-avenue for Mr. A. Morriss Wheeler.
The contractors in respect of St. Margaret's-avenue wrote asking that the Council would take over the first part of that road, which had now been completed. The Highways Committee recommended that the request be not acceded to until the whole thoroughfare had been completed tothe satisfaction of the surveyor.
This was agreed.
Mr. J. T. Richardson presided. All the members were present with the exception of Mr. J. Hornsby, who is indisposed.
