Renunciation of Administration and Inventory 1691

Be it known to all men by these presents That wee Elizabeth Walker Mary Hall George Carter Roger Carter Susannah Carter & Hannah Carter Children of George Carter late of Rushden in the County of North'ton dec'd doe refuse to take out letters of Administration of ye Goods and Chattells debts and Credditts of ye s'd George Carter & doe as much as in us lyeth utterly renounce the same and are willing that Administration of the s'd Goods & Chattells Debts & Credditts of the sayd George Carter be .... [page damaged] to Wm Trigg of Irthlingborow in the s'd County of North'ton Grocer as ye principall Creditor of ye s'd George Carter In wittness whereof wee have hereunto sett our hands & seals ye three & twentyeth day of December in the year of o'r Lord One thousand six hundred nynety & one witness Mathew Gray

Administration was granted to Wm Trigg grocer, principalcreidtor, Richard Ruffe fellmonger and Mathew Gray husbandman, all of Irthlingborough on 26th December 1691. They were to "make an Inventory by 2nd February next ensuing" and the account to be presented at the probate office by 26th December next ensuing (1692). This document was witnesses by Richard Fisher and Martha Fisher (both sign).
