BuildersAny Person desirous of TENDERING for the ERECTION of HOUSE and CO-OPERATIVE STORES, at Rushden, can see the Plans and Specifications on and after October 15th, upon application to the undersigned, to whom Tenders will have to be sent not later the Seven p.m. on October 22nd. Conditions of Salesman for the New Store
House or Rooms. That he shall have the two down stairs rooms back of shop, with outer building & garden. Three rooms on the first floor, the two front and one back rooms, the front large room if wanted at any future time is to be given up and arrangement made for same.
Rent & Gas. The Rent to be 10£ and gas 1£ per year the Society to pay all Rates & Taxes.
Notice to Quit. That He shall give and receive one month Notice to leave, if any Misconduct by the Salesman the committee may give him one week notice.
Tenancy. Tenancy monthly.
Time of opening Shop &c. The shop to be opened for sales from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m., on Saturday from 8 a.m. until 10 p.m. The shop to be closed on Christmas day and Good Friday and when allowed by the Committee for any Special day or days.
Commission &c. The Salesman to be paid by Commission at 6d in the £ on Retail Sales. He shall receive 1£ per week on account and the remainder monthly (if Sales under 40£ in proportion).
Bonds. That He shall find two bonds of 25£ each and himself 40£ and to sign the agreement for same.
Salesman. He personally to attend to the Stores for Sales & give his time to his duties assigned to him by order of the Committee of Management.
