The result of the Quarters' business transactions is, again of a very satisfactory character, and needs little comment.
The cash paid over for goods sold is £1,032-12-3, which, after paying the working expenses, and Interest on Capital, has realised a net profit of £140-5-10. This will give to Members of the Society on the 634 checks sent in, a dividend of 2/6 in the pound, leaving a balance in hand of £3-14-7.
All are requested to change their Tin Checks for Brass ones, on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, only each week. N.B. Please not to keep your Tin Checks until the day appointed for taking them in, and thereby save time and trouble.
Notice
Drapery is now sold at the Stores on Monday, Thursday, and Saturday afternoons; all are requested to make their purchases accordingly until further notice.
