The Annual Social of the employees of the Rushden Industrial Co-operative Society Ltd., was held last night in the Co-operative Hall, the employees being joined by the members of the General Committee of the society, the Educational Committee, the committee of the Women’s Co-operative Guild, and a few guests, the party numbering in all about 150. Tea was served, the catering naturally being on a modified scale owing to war conditions. An interesting programme of musical items, competitions, dance, etc., followed.
