New Bank
Extensions of local banking facilities are always welcome, and interest attaches to the announcement that Barclay’s Bank Ltd. will open their new branch in College-street, Rushden, on Monday next, under the management of Mr. L. A. Miller. The hours of business will be from 10a.m. to 3.p.m., and on Saturdays from 9a.m. to 12 noon.

The Crown Bank
The petition to wind up the Crown Bank came on for hearing on Saturday last before Mr. Justice North. Mr. Higgins, Q.C., appeared for the petitioner, and Mr. Bramwell Davis for other shareholders supporting the petition.

On the application of the Bank it was directed to stand over till April 19th, to enable the directors to file and complete their evidence.
