Society of Friends

The Society of Friends was listed in 1924 Kelly's Directory, and as being in Newton Road.

The Librarian at Friends House tells us Rushden was an 'Allowed Meeting' in the 1930s and met in rented rooms.
This wedding took place there in 1934, when Edward Tuffrey married Agnes Finch. The caption says "taken in doorway of Friends Meeting House after their wedding."
