Jonathan Lawton - will 1726

In the name of God Amen I Jonathan Lawton of Bozeat in the County of Northampton Carpenter being of a sound disposeing minde and memory praise be given to Almighty God for the same and being desyreous to make my will doe make the same in manner following (viz)
Impris I Give and devise to Richard Lawton my Son Six acres of arrable land lying in the open feilds of Bozeatt aforesaid for and dureing the terme of his naturall life and from and after his decease to his children share and share alike his heires at law only excepted Item I give to my three sisters Frances Woodard of Bozeatt Widdow Susannah Church of Castle Ashby Widdow and Easter Hind of Odell Widdow five shillings a paice to be paid one yeare after my decease by my Executrix herein after mentioned All the rest and residue of my personall estate whatsoever I shall die posseset of as ewes sheepe or hoggs I give to my Executrix (except all the moveable goods in the yard barne shopp and two parts out of three of the Graine and also the goods in the house which I had before I marryed my last wife to my said son Richard Lawton) she paying all my just debts and funerall expenses and make her sole Executrix of this my last will and testament and lastly I desyre my said son to give .his mother one load of fire wood and I doe revoake all former Wills by mee heretofore made In Witness whereof I the said Jonathan Lawton the Testator have hereunto sett my hand and scale this two and twentieth day of September in the twelfth yeare of his Majesties Reigne Anno dm 1725
Signed sealed published and declared by the
above named Jonathan Lawton as for his
last Will and Testm't in the presence of us who
have subscribed our names as Witnesses hereunto
in the oresence and at the request of the said Testator
