Mr. Oliver Middleton

One of the Higham Ferrers Bedesmen, Mr. Oliver Middleton died at his home, 18, Wharf-road. Higham Ferrers, yesterday (Thursday) morning at the age of 76 years, after a long illness. He leaves a widow, Mrs. Mary Ann Middleton, who is at present ill in the Northampton General Hospital, and there are two daughters, Mrs. B. M. Fletton, of Rushden, and Mrs. M. Corbett, Higham Ferrers.

A resident of Higham Ferrers for the whole of his life, Mr. Middleton was a Past Grand Master of the Loyal Earl Fitzwilliam Lodge, Manchester Unity of Oddfellows.

The funeral will take place on Monday, a service to be conducted at the house by the Methodist minister, the Rev. H. G. Reynolds.

Funeral arrangements are in the hands of the Co-operative Federal Funeral Service.
