Higham Ferrers Man – Killed in the Great Advance

Yesterday news was received unofficially that Pte. Arthur Farrington, Lincoln Regt., whose home is at 5 Corporation-terrace, Higham Ferrers, has been killed in action in the big advance. Pte. Farrington, aged 26, has seen ... years’ service in the army. The news of his death was contained in a letter from an [officer] of the same regiment.
