Postcard 1933
This old postcard was sent to Rushden Co-op Furnishing department at Higham Road in August 1933.
It reads: Please allow me to compliment you on your excellent window display. On seeing it the other evening I was very much impressed by its general smartness & the lighting effect was very impressive. As an old Co-operative I thought I would like to send you my opinion. Faithfully F D Brazier
Tokens purchased and used to get milk and bread from the delivery service that was provided in the village.
A mug was issued in celebration of the
centenary of the
Raunds Co-op Society Ltd
in 1991 with the logo on the reverse side.
Savings book from 1929 - on the back the rules are preceded by the motto
"Take care of the Pence and the Pounds will take care of themselves".
