Easton Maudit - Entertaining Time—Things were lively in this quiet little village on Tuesday. Commencing in the morning with the meet of the Oakley Hunt, which attracted a large crowd from the surrounding district, followed in the afternoon by the annual tea for children, and the aged in the evening. Mr Stanley Woodrow and party gave an excellent two hours’ entertainment, to which the whole of the parishioners had been invited. At the close Mrs F M Allebone thanked the artistes for their entertainment, and asked for three cheers for the Vicar, who was unavoidably absent, for his kindness in providing the tea for all, and sweets for the children. There was a hearty response.
