Gunner Killed Loss To Newton Bromshold
On Sunday morning the villagers of Newton Bromshold heard with great regret that L/Bdr. Richard King, R.A., had been killed in action on the Western Front. For many years he was a member of the Parish Church choir and also of the village Cricket Club. An old boy of Newton-road Council School. Rushden, he was employed by Bignells, Ltd., at the time of enlistment.
