First I bequeath my soule unto the holie Trinitie the father the sone and the holie ghost and truste to be saved by myne only saviour Jesus Christ who hathe redeemed me with his passions, blood. Also I commend my bodie to be buried in the churcheyearde if Newnton aforesaide.

Itm I geve and bequeathe unto Kateringe Grante my 5th daughter fortie shillings.
The residue of my goods my debts and legaces paide and my funerall expenses discharged I geve and bequeathe unto my welbeloved wyfe Kateringe Grante whome I make my sole executrix of this my laste wyll and testament.
