Mr John Carrington, who has just resigned his position as secretary of the Working Men’s Club, after 16 years’ devoted and valuable service.

The club last week, presented him with a barometer, suitably inscribed, and a pair of gold pince-nez, as a mark of their appreciation of his work for the club.
